Marina began to play the piano at the age of 6 in Minsk, Belarus. When her family immigrated to Israel, she continued her piano studies at Kiryat Motzkin conservatory, with Valeria Ivenski. At the age of 13, Marina began to play the Bassoon at the Kiryat Bialik youth band under the instruction of Eduard Abadjan.
 | For the past 7 years, Marina has been playing the bassoon in the Technion's symphonic orchestra. In 2002 Technion's symphonic orchestra, performed for the first time an original piece by Marina called "Dorian Legend".
