Tomer Duman began to play the flute at the age of nine at Kiryat Motzkin conservatory, under the instruction of Ms. Sarit Melamedov. At the age of 18, Tomer continued his studies with Mr. Yossi Arnheim, leading flutist at the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tomer is the chief flutist of the Technion's symphonic orchestra for the past 5 years. In 2006 he played Mozart's flute Concerto in G major with the orchestra.

Tomer is also a graduate student in the faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa. His research deals with The Flow Field at the Interface of Porous Media, under the supervision of Dr. Uri Shavit
